About Monifest
Monifest is a personal finance tracking application operated by Sim Capital Ventures ("we," "us," or "our"). Monifest allows you to track your budget, net worth, credit card spending, and financial goals in one place.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Monifest at mymonifest.com. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use Monifest. By using the app, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate information when creating your account
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
What Monifest Is (and Isn't)
Monifest is a personal finance tracking tool. It is not a bank, investment advisor, financial planner, or licensed financial institution. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, legal, or investment advice.
All data in the app is entered manually by you. We do not connect to your bank accounts, pull transactions automatically, or make financial decisions on your behalf. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Monifest for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the app
- Use the app to store data belonging to other people without their consent
- Attempt to circumvent any security features of the app
Your Data
You own your data. We do not claim any ownership over the financial information you enter into Monifest. Our use of your data is limited to operating the app on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@mymonifest.com. Deletion requests are processed within 5 business days.
Service Availability
We do our best to keep Monifest running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime outside of our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Monifest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use of Monifest is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sim Capital Ventures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Monifest. This includes any loss of data, financial losses, or damages resulting from errors in data you enter.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice within the app. Your continued use of Monifest after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
