Monifest is a personal finance application operated by Sim Capital Ventures ("we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at support@mymonifest.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Monifest at mymonifest.com.
What We Collect
We collect only the minimum information needed to provide Monifest to you:
- First name — to personalize your experience
- Email address — to create and manage your account
- Financial data you enter — budgets, bills, net worth snapshots, transactions, and goals that you manually input into the app
We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses for profiling, browsing behavior, or any data beyond what you explicitly provide.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to operate and improve Monifest:
- To create and authenticate your account
- To save and sync your financial data across your devices
- To personalize your app experience (e.g., displaying your name)
- To respond to support requests you send us
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond running the app.
How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Your financial data is tied to your account and protected by row-level security — meaning only you can access your data. No other user, and no Monifest employee, can read your financial information without your credentials.
We also use your browser's local storage to keep the app fast and functional when offline.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party, except in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — We use Supabase to store data. They process data only as needed to operate the service and are bound by their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
No advertisers. No data brokers. No exceptions beyond the above.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent at any time by closing your account
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@mymonifest.com. Account deletion requests are processed within 5 business days.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all personal data and financial information associated with your account will be permanently deleted within 5 business days.
Children's Privacy
Monifest is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at support@mymonifest.com and we will delete the account promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice within the app. Continued use of Monifest after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
